Mirage Land in Mira Park Uozu General Park is the only amusement park in Toyama Prefecture and a popular spot for families and children.
In particular, the six-seater Giant Ferris Wheel, which rises in the center of the park, is the symbol of Mirage Land and offers a beautiful view of Toyama Bay and the Tateyama Mountain Range.
The Giant Ferris Wheel also has a “Miracle Gondola” that looks great on social media. This Ferris wheel is 66 meters high, making it the largest on the Sea of Japan side!
Mirage Land offers a variety of attractions for both children and adults, including the “Mira Maze,” a giant three-dimensional maze.
The park has 15 types of playground equipment that even small children can enjoy, including a two-story merry-go-round and a Mirage Train.
There is also the popular “Mira Maze,” a giant three-dimensional maze, the thrilling “Viking” attraction, the “Water Shooter,” where you aim at targets with water guns, the family-friendly “Arabian Merry” and the haunted house called the House of Horrors.
In summer, an outdoor saltwater pool opens, with a flowing pool, triple slider, and a toddler pool.
The park also features an adventure plaza with the athletic “Milatan and Mirage Tower,” a barbecue plaza, a lawn area, a crescent moon pond, a fureai ranch frontier, and tennis courts.
The amusement park is also open for “Charter Nights,” when individuals and groups can rent out the fantastic nighttime amusement park.
Admission to the park is free, and visitors pay by ticket to use the attractions. There is a separate fee for use of the playground equipment, seawater pool (open only in summer), and barbecue plaza.
Mira Park Uozu General Park is also home to the Uozu Aquarium and is famous for its cherry blossoms, which attract many visitors every spring.
